Thanks to SPAX double thread technology, decking boards are pulled tightly down onto the joist, while the smooth shank absorbs natural timber movement caused by changing weather conditions. This helps prevent board lift, loosening and squeaking over time. The special design of the CUT point allows for a quick and clean penetration, while significantly reducing installation torque and splitting. This enables faster working and, in many timber types, reduces the need for pre-drilling. The SPAX T-STAR plus T-40 drive bit ensures maximum torque transmission and reduced cam-out, allowing for an efficient, controlled installation.
